A natural prostate pill may be a useful tool for improving prostate health in men. Now, a study suggests that a botanical formula may be effective for fighting prostate cancer.

In a paper published in The International Journal of Oncology, researchers found that a botanical formula offered multiple cancer-fighting mechanisms that combine to make it a potentially powerful prostate cancer treatment. In the study, researchers from Indiana University administered the formula to mice harboring human prostate tumors. They found that the formula, which is comprised of botanical extracts, medicinal mushrooms and antioxidants, suppressed the growth of these tumors by 27 percent. Additionally, it prevented the development of numerous cancer-causing genes while promoting the growth of those that fight cancerous cells.
Furthermore, the treatment appears to have no negative side effects. This is particularly beneficial, as traditional prostate cancer treatments may have a variety of side effects, including urinary, bowel and erectile dysfunctions.

This is the third significant study to test this particular formula's effectiveness in fighting prostate cancer, and each one has yielded positive results. It should be noted that it has yet to be tested on human subjects.

While this study is encouraging, men should still take active steps to promote prostate health. Such steps may include taking a natural prostate pill, eating healthy and exercising.
