google nexus tablet

Google is expected to announce its first Android tablet at the end of the month, according to a source with knowledge of the company's plans.

The new tablet will also offer magazine subscriptions from some major magazine publishers, our source says.?

It'll likely be a similar model Apple and Amazon use for magazine subscriptions on the iPad and Kindle Fire. Google recently opened up in-app subscriptions for Android apps.

While our source couldn't confirm this is the long-rumored 7-inch "Nexus" tablet from Asus, we're guessing that's the case.

Google is expected to announce the tablet at its i/o developers conference on June 27. According to a WSJ report, the tablet will be sold through Google's own online store. It could cost as little as $150.
